Reconstruction of the missing order statistics in the Topp-Leone distribution
There are situations in reliability studies where a middle part of the sample is lost, and the experimenter is interested to draw inference about this part. This article deals with reconstruction of missing failure times from the Topp-Leone distribution in the Bayesian framework. The performances of the suggested point and interval reconstructors are assessed in a simulation study. A numerical example based on a real data set is also analyzed.
